TOOTH DECAY & PLAQUE
Plaque is a clear sticky substance which is always forming on your teeth and gums,
within the plaque there is bacteria, that bacteria creates acids which slowly breaks down your tooth. This is tooth decay.
Symptoms of tooth decay won’t occur until you have a cavity or an infected tooth. You’ll notice a toothache, swelling in your gums, bad breath and/or brown or black spots on your teeth. The pain may disappear for a while but the decay will continue to spread.
