STAINED DISCOLOURED TEETH
There are many factors that contribute to stained and discoloured teeth
The main cause is the natural process of aging.
Stained teeth can occur in shades of chalky white, grey, yellow, brown and burnt orange. It can appear evenly among all your teeth or perhaps on just a single tooth, they can also vary as streaks and pits along random teeth.
Stained discoloured teeth can be a result of either external stains caused by the foods and beverages you consume such as red wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea. They can be a result of genetics, antibiotics or fluoride or it can be caused internally from trauma or damage to the tooth’s nerve. In some cases stained teeth can be a result of a deteriorated tooth restoration.
